Weekly Indie Log #20

In Weekly Indie Log #20, I reflect on a busy week of releasing new features for Stomod and plans to update the marketing site and documentation. A significant upcoming feature is customizable homepage and blog post layouts. I am also preparing to launch Stomod on Product Hunt and is also exploring the development of a Habit Tracker app with a focus on simplicity and offline functionality. They plan to build a simple MVP in November and continue iterating in December while also enhancing AssistFlare.

Welcome to Weekly Indie Log #20!
Hello everyone! I'm thrilled to have you here for my Weekly Indie Log #20. Last week was an absolute rollercoaster, filled with the release of a plethora of new features on Stomod as I strive to reach "feature-complete" status.
This week, I'll be focusing on updating the marketing site to showcase all these exciting new features, aiming to convincingly communicate Stomod's value proposition to users. I'll also be crafting comprehensive documentation and rolling out a few final additions to Stomod.
The most significant feature still in the pipeline is enabling different homepage and blog post layouts, customizable according to the blog type.
I'm also gearing up to launch Stomod on Product Hunt in the upcoming weeks! I'll be diving into the best tips and strategies from previous makers who successfully launched on PH.

New Projects on the Horizon

Looking ahead, I'm exploring the feasibility of launching a Habit Tracker app for iOS, Android, and web. This app will prioritize offline functionality and seamless cross-device sync.
I've been evaluating different tech stacks to make this happen while keeping things as simple as possible. One key lesson from building Stomod and AssistFlare is that simplicity is crucial for moving fast.
When it comes to mobile apps, this principle is even more critical—you don't want to wrestle with cross-platform issues or implement platform-specific hacks.
With the tech stack I've chosen, I plan to build a simple MVP during November, then launch, iterate, and #buildinpublic throughout December.
I'll also be giving some love to AssistFlare to see how I can take it to the next level.
I know I'm juggling multiple projects, and sometimes I wonder if it's the right move. But this is me taking risks and trying to maximize my luck surface area.
Let's see where this exciting journey takes me!
